50 Best Places Fly Fishing the Northeast

Catch Fly Designer and Northeast Sales Rep Bob Mallard has just released a book called “50 Best Places Fly Fishing the Northeast” (Stonefly Press). It covers New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The book is full-size, full-color; with topo grade maps, pictures and sidebars for Fly Shops, Guide/Outfitters, Lodging and Food. Chapters were contributed by Bob (7) plus a combination of 44 fly fishing professionals (Shop Owners/Staff, Guides, Conservation Workers) from around the area. The Foreword was written by well-known aquatic insect guru Thomas Ames, Jr. (Hatch Guide for New England Streams, Fishbugs and Caddisflies). Plugged by Ted Williams (Fly Rod & Reel), Tom Rosenbauer (Orvis), Chris Major (Fly Fish America), and Tom Ackerman (New American Sportsman).
