Brian J Smolinski grew up in Minnesota fishing for Northern Pike and other warm water species. In 2001 he moved to River Falls, Wisconsin and began working in a fly shop right near the banks of the Kinnickinnic River. Fishing for stream trout in the northern section of the Driftless Region broadened his love for fly fishing
and fly tying. In 2011 the shop closed and he opened Lund’s Fly Shop just a block away from the old shop and specializes in fly patterns for trout, panfish, bass, pike,
muskie, & more!
