About Tucker Barnes

Born and raised in Nashville, you would think I would have found my way into the music world, but fate had different plans for me. I cut my teeth learning to fish the Cumberland River at a young age and quickly realized what an amazing hidden gem I had all to myself. As I grew up, I spent every chance I got fishing, learning, and tinkering with gear. Everything from fly tying, lure making, rod building, and even machining/fabrication quickly occupied my spare time. Shortly thereafter I gained the nickname “MacGyver”. I Graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, which has only intensified my passion for theoutdoors. From Northern Ontario all the way down to the Florida Keys, I have been fortunate enough to get to fool a lot of fish, or at least tried to, and there is no greater satisfaction than when it all comes together.
