About Austin Adduci

Captain Austin Adduci is a self taught tier and ﬂy ﬁsherman born and raised in Chicago. He was introduced to ﬁshing at a young age while on family vacations. Austin could be found sitting on a dock in the Florida Keys drowning frozen shrimp for hours. It wasn’t until high school that he picked up a ﬂy rod and the rest is history. He founded Grab Your Fly Charters in 2009. He is the only full-time ﬂy ﬁshing guide in the greater Chicagoland area. He guides the southern basin of Lake Michigan, the Kankakee River, Beaver Island, and the Pere Marquette River. His favorite species to ﬁsh for are tarpon, carp, and smallmouth, in that order. He is a supporter of Coastal Conservation Association, the Illinois Smallmouth Alliance, and the FFF. -Captain Austin Adduci
