About CATCH Dry Fly Midges
Clustered up like teenage girls at the Taylor Swift t-shirt table, the wind is down and the midges are out in force. And like the creepy van with the tinted windows, the big trout are cruising by trying to pick them off. The midge is the most readily available and constant food source in the river, and fish can’t choke ‘em down fast enough. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t a discerning customer. They won’t settle for the same cheesy crap those pop-music fans gobble up; the midge-eaters need something subtle, but with substance.
