James Cranford grew up in Miles City, Montana where he developed a passion for Fishing at an early age. His passion for tying flies however developed a little late in life, but he quickly learned that he was a natural and started developing his own patterns shortly thereafter. He currently ties commercially for local shops in Montana and devotes the rest of his time Hunting and BETA testing new fly patterns for CATCH
