Scott Lewis was raised in Columbia, SC where he grew up fishing ponds and lakes for largemouth bass. He caught his first trophy largemouth at age 12 and began tying flies in 1987. For the past 15 years he fly-fished and guided the tri-state region (TN, NC, and VA), especially the Tennessee tailwaters, and his “home water” is the S. Holston tailwater. Scott quit guiding full-time in 2015 and moved to NW Arkansas, where he is chasing carp, smallmouth, and stripers, and will be exploring the Rockies this year in pursuit of Golden Trout in the high lakes.
