Austin Reynolds first cast a fly when he was watching his cousin, catch fish after fish along the Yampa River. From that first hookset, he was caught on fly-fishing and never let go. He considers Cheeseman Canyon his home waters and loves sight fishing to the big boys in the riffles. The clear, cold, water of Colorado has allowed him to become a great young fisherman. Never receiving much advice on the river from other anglers; he developed his own patterns for the South Platte and spends much of his free time on the vise. From Fishing alpine lakes to mountain freestones, and the famed tail waters of Colorado, he is always researching new ways to catch fish, or looking for new waters to explore. At the age of 17 Austin is determined to become a guide and live right on the water, to teach and become a better fisherman.
