About Addison Berry
Fly Fishing saved my life. I picked up my first fly rod at the age of 14, fishing all over the Carolinas from Charleston to the Smokeys. My home water is Lake Wylie in Fort Mill, South Carolina where I spent most of my time getting dialed in on catching largemouth bass on flies. This is where I started to tie, and to get dialed in on the executionof a fly.
I began making short films when I got out of high school, and was drawn to the world of fly fishing films and media. I sought out some of the guys I had really looked up to fora long time, Jay Johnson and Matt Schliske, and they welcomed me with all their knowledge they could give.
Being a 23 year old, I knew it was time to make something happen in my life. So on August 1st, 2013 I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to learn from Matt and Jay. I was welcomed into the project call Pig Farm Ink, which is the buildings of a fly fishing community center, which will give anybody the ability to learn how to fly fishing for free.
